The Sports Field Management Association Conference and Trade Show is an annual opportunity to showcase our latest innovations and game-changing offerings — and it’s also an opportunity for Toro to give back to the organization and lead the way for future turf grass managers.
Check out which products created the most buzz at this year’s event in Daytona Beach.
The Field Pro® 6040 breaks up a compacted playing surface, grades to precision and gives the field a finished playable surface — all in one pass. Attachment options include laser-level system, drag mats, grooming brooms, tooth rakes and much more.

Equipped with a 3.3 kW on-board charger, the Groundsmaster e3200 makes recharging overnight easy so it’s ready to tackle another day.

The Workman MDX combines a coil-over shock absorber suspension design with an Active In-Frame™ twister joint. These features deliver superior ride quality for optimum operator comfort and control.
Built for work and designed for comfort, Toro Vista® provides transportation across any property with ease. Vista is available in 4-, 6- and 8-passenger models and is the perfect choice for any campus, event space, resort and more.
Beyond the Booth
Toro had the honor of playing a supporting role in this year’s SFMA Conference and Trade Show to help advance the SFMA’s mission while inspiring the next generation of turfgrass managers.
The team from the Tiger Turf Talk podcast was on-site at the event. Sponsored by Toro, the Tiger Turf Talk Podcast is hosted and produced by Drew Miller, head of the turfgrass management program at Brenstville School District in Virginia. Miller and his students were able to speak with members of the Toro team and Toro customers on their favorite products and career advice.
This year, Toro also helped sponsor the event’s welcome reception and welcome gift for all attendees. Additionally, Toro is proud to support the SFMA through these programs:
Project Evergreen Field Rebuild: With help from Toro and other donors, members of the SFMA partnered with Project Evergreen and the Volusia County Schools on Jan. 21 at Palm Terrace Elementary School in Daytona Beach for a $35,000 renovation to the school’s dormant baseball field and grassy play area.
Dr. Watson SAFE Scholarships: Each year, The Foundation for Safer Athletic Fields (SAFE) awards several scholarships to students who are planning a career in the sports turf industry. Funded by the Toro Giving Program, the Dr. James Watson Graduate Scholarship and the Dr. James Watson Scholarships are presented to the top graduate and undergraduate scholarship students.
