Grounds operations will have a new reel mowing option this spring with the introduction of Toro’s new Reelmaster® 3555-D and 3575-D reel mowers. Simple to operate and maintain, they’re designed to deliver the same superior quality of cut and reliability that customers expect from the Reelmaster line, but in a smaller package.

Productive Three-Wheel Design
First and foremost, the highly maneuverable three-wheel design makes tight turns with ease. This reduces turnaround time. And smooth tires help to significantly reduce the potential for turf wear and tear. In addition, these mowers share the same operator platform design as other popular Toro mowers, which helps simplify training, maximize productivity, and provide confidence in the durability and longevity of the product.

Excellent Cut Quality
Each new Reelmaster model features Toro’s proven DPA cutting units with the new EdgeSeries™ reels for a long-lasting, clean, crisp cut. They are available in 5-inch (12.7 cm) or 7-inch (17.8 cm) diameter, 8- or 11-blade configurations, with grooming accessories common to other Toro Reelmaster mowers to fine tune your after-cut appearance.

Impressive Power
The new Toro Reelmaster 3555-D/3755-D models are compact yet deliver surprisingly impressive engine power. New design enhancements optimize the power usage of the cutting unit and traction systems, reducing their energy requirements, which maximizes the power utilization and efficiency of the 24.8 hp (18.5 kW) engine. The new mowers include a standard full-time three-wheel drive system and offer a 100″ (2.5 m) width of cut.

Light Footprint
The new Reelmaster 3555-D and 3575-D reel mowers have a lighter footprint, weighing approximately 500 lbs. (226.8 kg) less than comparable Toro mowers and competitive reel mowing models with four wheels. The weight is balanced from front to back and side to side, creating a low center of gravity with lighter turf pressure than most vehicles of the same size. This reduces turf compaction — especially on approach and surrounds areas.

Low Noise
Another benefit of the new models is quiet operation. Rated at just 84 dBA at the operator’s ear, they’re among the quietest reel mowers in their class. That’s an asset for grounds operations that need to mow near sensitive public or residential areas.

Simpler Maintenance
The new Reelmaster models feature a liquid-cooled diesel engine that’s under 25 hp (19 kW), which complies with Tier 4 final EPA emission regulations yet doesn’t require the complex after-treatment filtering systems. This simplifies maintenance, which helps create efficiencies. Plus, the engine, hydraulics and cutting units are all fully accessible to further increase maintenance efficiency. Common parts shared across other popular Toro reel and rotary mowers can further minimize maintenance expenses for the fleet.
